The
Jeff Grossman 9-1-1 Award was established by Jeff's colleagues in memory
of a man who, without consideration for personal gain or recognition,
devoted a significant part of his life to the challenge of improving
public safety.
Through his tireless efforts, Jeff was largely responsible for the
implementation of the statewide 9-1-1 system in the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts.
The Jeff Grossman 9-1-1 Telecommunicator of the Year award is presented
annually to a public safety official, dispatcher, supervisor, engineer,
9-1-1 call taker or PSAP manager who displays the traits exemplified by
Jeff during his life: that of unwavering commitment to public safety
communications without seeking personal gain. As you look through this
